Utah again..

I went to Utah for a few days to stay with my friend Steff and her two girls while both of our husbands were out of town. We had a lot of fun and were able to visit Discovery at Gateway and go to the pool. Here are a few pics! Thanks again for letting us come Steff!

Its been a while

I have been really bad about taking my camera places, so there has been a shortage of pictures lately, but i did take a few yesterday and today. We were getting ready to go to a BBQ at some friends yesterday and while I was finishing up making some food, I let Jaxon in the backyard to play with the neighbor kids. This is what I found...

Boating

We went to Utah this past weekend and had so much fun. We went to the dinosaur museum, we went to the rodeo and we went boating with our friends the Clarks. Of course I forgot my camera, but I did get these pictures from Steff from boating. I was so proud of Jaxon for being brave his first time on a boat. We even got him on the tube behind the boat! I guess we should get one!

Seattle

This past week Jaxon, Crew, and I were able to go to Seattle to visit my parents while Mike was out of town. We had so much fun and I always wish my trip was just a few days longer. Heres some if the fun we were able to pack in on the quick five day trip!

Sidenote: I don't know if you can see them but Jaxon has scratches all over his face in these pictures. He was having so much fun in the backyard to notice the ground he was running on had a drop off into some blackberry bushes. So he wrestled with the blackberry bushes and he lost.

Happy Birthday!

Just wanted to say to my hubby, a great big happy birthday! We are sad that we couldn't be with you on your birthday or on Fathers Day! We miss you and love you!

He will be 27 this month!

Definately him...he doesn't necessarily eat a bunch at once but he is CONSTANTLY eating!

He did!

Mike is. He must feel really tall around me he is about 7 inches taller

Who sings better?
I think I would have to take this one, and I think he would agree. He will sing really bad on purpose just to annoy me! (We are really mature I know)

Who is smarter?
GRRR.. I hate this question. I can admit it though he is smarter.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?
Right now he does, I make his sleep closest to the door wherever we are...for some reason I feel safer that way!

Who controls the TV remote?
Mike for the most part, but if there is something I really want to watch or really DONT want to watch (ahem...UFC) he will usually let me change it.

Whose temper is worse?
I don't like this question either..I'll go with Mike though

Who does the laundry?
I do for the most part, I'm weird for some reason I kind of like doing laundry!

Who does the dishes?
Mike mostly does. I cook, he cleans up, thats our system. Dishes are something I hate!

Now this is a hard one. I think if Mike were here right now he would say me, but I will say we are equal.

Who is the first to admit they are wrong?
Mike is probably a little better at this than I am.

Whose parents do we see the most?
I think it is pretty equal, although we don't live by either of them, we are lucky that we do get to see them quite a bit. (Advantage of having the only grandchildren on both sides!)

Who has more friends?
I think we are about equal on that too!

Who has more siblings?
Mike does..he has 3 sisters and one brother

We both do on different things I think!

Ah, the joys of having children..

Let me just preface this by saying that this post may contain some graphic details and if you don't appreciate "potty" humor you may want to stop reading now. So lets just start by saying that I started feeding Crew rice cereal about a week ago and he LOVED it. A problem though...he had some issues with the whole digestive process. It had been about 5 days and he had not pooped. So today I was running some errands and had just arrived at Bed Bath and Beyond and I smell an interesting smell that seemed to be following me. What could it be? Oh yes, you guessed it... I lifted Crews blanket up and what did my eyes behold? A car seat FULL of POOP! This was no ordinary blowout. This was an EXPLOSION of poop! Not the easy clean up kind, the nasty mustard paste. Crew was covered, his car seat was full. It was awful. I was not close to home so I went into the bathroom to try and get a handle on this, and it just went downhill from there. Lets just say Crew ended up naked in the sink at Bed Bath and Beyond. The best part was when a girl walked in to go to the bathroom and I am there with my two kids, poop everywhere, a naked baby, and half the roll of paper towels spread all over the bathroom. Needless to say, she decided she didn't need to use the bathroom that bad. It was awesome. Its a good thing he's so cute!
